The Backstreet Boys won the MTVAsia award for Favorite Video: "The Call." The awards were broadcast in Asia on February 2nd.
The Backstreet Boys are nominated for a Grammy. The boys have been nominated for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal for "Shape Of My Heart" from Black & Blue. U.S fans can check out the Grammy's February 27th at 8:00PM EST on CBS to see if they win. KTBSBPA!!!!!
Just how long does a group have to be around to release a greatest hits album?
Apparently the Backstreet Boys (news - web sites)' career is lengthy enough to warrant a compilation of their most popular work. They will become the first boy band to release a greatest hits album when the yet-to-be-titled compilation is released on Oct. 23. The album will include the new single "Drowning."
The Backstreet Boys have released four albums so far, including their current release Black & Blue.
You can see the Backstreet Boys presenting the first award of the evening at The 2001 MTV Video Music Awards...they will, of course, have to rush off and perform a show afterward.
